A new Mummy, pregnant with twins due end of March is looking for a Mother’s Help or Doula to help her in the first few months of her new role as a Mummy. Coming in 2-3 times a week for a few hours to help with general care of the babies and some help around the house, being a friend and support to her. Days and times are flexible, and the days could change from week to week, as Dad might have days off.

The family would also like you to give them an option for babysitting maybe once a week also. The family live in a rural area so a driver with their own car would be essential.

Salary would be £6-8 net per hour.

A family from the lovely area of East Sheen are looking for a daily 3 day nanny to start Mid March. You will be looking after 4 girls! The ages are 13 months, 6,8 and 10 years. The previous nanny has been with the family 4.5 years, and is leaving to have a family of her own. The girls enjoy socialising with play dates and after school activities. They are in to netball, so the nanny would need to be fit and energetic! Some tutoring with homework is also required. Normal nursery duties. The family employ a cleaner. The family have requested that the nanny has 10+ years experience with a childcare qualification.

The days required to work are Tuesday-Thursday. Salary will be £10 net per hour.

A live out or Live in Nanny is needed for a lovely family in the Cirencester area who are known to HAH. The hours will be Monday- Thursday 7.00-7.00/8.00 .

Live in accomodation consists of a spacious bedroom and own bathroom set within a beautiful large family home.

You will be required to care for their two gorgeous boys, aged 5 and 2.3 years. Father’s buisness is based in London and he splits his time between there and his home office during the week and Mother works away two days per week. They would like someone who has qualifications, experience and oodles of common sense . Usual nursery duties included: cooking yummy meals, maintaining playrooms/bedrooms and taking the boys to and from school and nursery and time permitting light housework. They would really like someone who will become part of the family and who is mature, sensitive and great fun !

The home is set in a beautiful village with stunning surrounding views and walks. Their eldest goes to the local private school which is either a 20 minute walk or a short car journey. Driver essential due to the rural location. Car provide for nursery duties. The position is due to start ASAP.

The family have two bunny rabbits.

A lovely family who have just moved from Canada, are looking for a 4 day daily french nanny. You would be looking after two great boys, one being 3 years old and the other 20 months. They are both quite active and would require lots of fun activities like swimming, trips to the park to arts and crafts and baking in the home. Mum speaks french everyday to them and is keen on them learning new languages also, so a nanny who spoke French and another language would be required. The family travel often and the nanny may be expected to travel with them. The 3 year old does attend nursery 3 times a week. Mum works from home so will be around, and will still play an active part with her boys. The family class themselves as an eccentric, fun active family and are looking for a nanny who will fit that profile!

The hours are yet to be negotiated,probably around 8.00-6.30. 1-2 nights babysitting would be required, but on those days you would be able to start at a later hour, around 11.00-12.00.

This role will be for approximately 1 year.

Salary £8 net per hour.

You must have:

An up-to-date CRB (no older than 3 years. We can process one on your behalf)
A valid First Aid Certificate (no older than 3 years. We provide First Aid Training)
A Qualification in Childcare (NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, NVQ Level 3, Norland Dip, Mont Dip. Or equivalent Level 3 Childcare Qualification)
A minimum of 1 Year working as a Nanny (sole charge in the home)

A busy family are looking for a nanny/housekeeper to join them. They are looking at two scenarios at the moment. EITHER a 3 day post, in which you would be expected to live in for the 3 days OR a full time live in nanny/ housekeeper. You would be looking after a 3 year old boy/8 year old boy and 14 year old girl. The day would be starting around 7.30 and would finish around 7pm. They are quite a sporty family and like to get out and about. The 3 year old also loves arts and crafts. He will be starting a playgroup 2 mornings a week from January. Normal household duties would also be required, general tidying and family laundry.

The family have 2 dogs to also keep you company! Mum works 3 days out of the five, so would be at home some of the time. They are looking for a down to earth, fun nanny who can keep up with their busy schedules!

Pay £8-10 net per hour if over the 3 days. If full time live in £250-300 net per week dependant on experience.

A lovely family are looking to employ a live in housekeeper. Your day would start around 7am making breakfast for the family. There is a little 6 year old girl who would also need help getting ready for school. Once the morning rush is out the way, it is then on with the household chores of cleaning and laundry, maybe getting a food shop in or collecting in deliveries. In the afternoon you would sometimes be expected to collect the little girl from school, which is a 3-5 minute drive. Once home, it would then be getting on preparing dinner for the family around 6pm. The parents will sometimes leave the little girl in your care, so doing fun activities, some cooking or interesting games would be great!

The family have a small dog, cat and rabbit to keep you company! Your accommodation is through your own entrance, a double bedroom and an ensuite bathroom. They are ideally looking for a mature housekeeper with some experience. Service car provided so a driver is preferable.

Pay £350 net per week. You will be working 5 and half days a week.

Start March 2012.

ENTREPRENEURIAL SUPERNANNY LAUNCHES CHILDREN’S ECO-BOUTIQUE

Childcare entrepreneur and founder of Harmony at Home Ltd, Frankie Gray, has celebrated the premium nanny consultancy’s 75 per cent growth over the last 12 months by launching her latest venture – a children’s eco-boutique.

The first of 10 eco-boutiques planned to open throughout the UK over the next two years is situated in Ardingly, West Sussex. It aims to provide a platform for emerging designers and producers throughout the UK to exhibit their eco-friendly products including toys, clothes and arts and crafts.

The boutique will complement Harmony at Home Ltd, the international nanny consultancy that includes a recruitment agency, sleep clinics, pregnancy pampering sessions and a home and garden safety check service.

On the launch of the boutique division, Frankie comments: “Harmony at Home is now globally recognised for its comprehensive approach to childcare and the boutique represents yet another string to the company’s bow.
