Harmony Nanny & Parent Sleep Training Course
This is our in house training course for both nannies and parents wishing to become confident in Sleep Training babies and children in their care. Each class is run by a qualified professional Sleep Consultant, offering many years of experience and practical tips.
For Nannies and Maternity Nurses this course will help you to help parents overcome sleep issues of a new baby or young child. You will be able to use the techniques to enhance the parent child bond. This course is great for Child carers wishing to indicate to prospective employers that they are competent in their understanding of babies sleep. Our Certificates provide a great addition to your professional portfolio, and you can list our course on your CV. Nanny Families are welcome to sponsor their existing nanny.
For Parents this course provides valuable information and tools to help combat problems such as: Needing the breast to fall asleep, waking in the night for feeds past 6 months, rocking or holding your child to sleep, falling asleep with a parent in the bed / sofa, refusing to go to bed, crying out in the night, waking at an early hour. Parents will learn to understand and read their child’s behaviour. This course increases the confidence of all parents.

• Premature Babies
• Twins and Multiples
• Post Natal Depression (PND)
• What to Expect 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-12 months

• Observations and Sleep Diaries
• Attachment Theory
• Working with Parents / Heath Professionals
• Controlled Crying versus Nurturing
• Other Problems such as Colic & Reflux + Question & Answer Session
For Nannies & Maternity Nurses we additionally cover Coaching Skills & Report writing.
